The Ultimate Organization III

"Right," Alyt muttered, looking at the two. "So... Tera, its nice to see you but what are you doing here?"

 

"Actually, I came to talk with the Ultimate Organization," Tera Roth said, shrugging. "But when I found out you were here, I admit I came a bit faster than I was planning to."

"You see," he said, sitting down in a chair and staring deep into Alyt's eyes. "I've discovered the location of Scourge and the remainder of the Brotherhood."

His eyes flashed with excitement. "I'm here to propose an all-out strike into the heart of the Brotherhood."

 

"Are you serious?" Alyt asked, "Tera that's wonderful! We can make this the shortest war in history if your attack works!"

"Make sure you wright it down, Tera Roth," Niles muttered, before dimming the lights a bit. "I haven't slept in... maybe fifty hours. I'm going to bed, the rest of you should too while we are in transit. It might be the last rest you get for a while."

"Wait... do we have enough beds?" Alyt asked. "Our three ships combined should. You don't mind a few people sleeping on the floor of your ship, do you Tera?" Niles asked.

 

"If it works," Tera Roth mumbled to himself, storing it in the ship's log and resending it his, Alyt's, and a safety deposit hidden somewhere where he could access it.

"I actually have pull-out cots," he said. "I'll set 'em up."

OOC: Next post is how Tera Roth found out the information...

BIC: Simon, the Ace, the Jack, Mellodia, Venture Jr, Niles, Xane, Kylee, and Alyt all went on they're way to prepare for bed. "We have about fourteen hours in transit," Niles muttered, setting the alarm clock on his phone...

 

OOC: OK, here goes...

BIC: Tera Roth laid down on his bed, and dreamed.

Tera Roth was back in Radiant Garden, entering the ship with Magna and Maria. When he got the call from Patrick, he was already in transit.

"Hey, Tera Roth, can you head for...here?" Patrick asked.

"Uh, sure, what's going on?" Tera Roth asked, changing course.

"We got a distress call...only one though," Patrick said. "And it was cut off."

"Sounds like crap to me," Tera Roth muttered.

"Yeah, well, check it out for me; it could be Brotherhood," Patrick said.

"I'll get back to you on that," Tera Roth said and cut off.

When he arrived at the world, he nearly emptied his guts. Blood was everywhere. Everywhere he looked, people were dead.

"Magna," he said, swallowing his gorge. "Check for life sources."

"I did," she said tightly. "Everything's dead."

Then the light lit the horizon, and Tera Roth felt even sicker. He felt the heat and danger before he even registered what it was.

It was the destruction of a world.

"Let's get out of here," Tera Roth said, stumbling back into the ship.

The ship's engines ripped open, and the ship flew forward.

It was in the upper atmosphere when the wave hit.

It took nearly ten hours to repair the ship, giving Tera Roth plenty of time to examine the dead world. He could still see the slow crumbling of the once thriving planet.

"It's dead, Patrick," Tera Roth said. "Everyone was dead."

"Then I have bad news for you," Patrick said. "It's not the only one."

"What did you see?" Tera Roth asked quietly.

"I saw him, don't you get it?" the man snarled, his eyes glazed. "I saw Scourge...That man was right about him, killing for the sake of killing. He murdered our world!"

"Where's he headed?" Tera Roth asked, leaning over the console with Patrick.

"The path of devastation leads into an uncharted area," Patrick said, pointing. "It looks like here, where I know the dark side ends, and it dissolves into chaos."

"There's no way...?" Tera Roth asked.

Patrick nodded. "There's no way. There's got to be a world along that line."

"Found it," Tera Roth breathed. "It's just like I imagined."

"What is?" Patrick asked in his ear.

"Osidia," Tera Roth said. "The world of legend."

OOC: I'm here now!

BIC: Lexx stood outside the U.P.A. building in Algoka, Ulfire System. He had managed to get the U.P.A. to pay for his flight there, he was going to see his parents, who he hadn't been keeping in touch with. Lexx was trying to wave down a taxi, not wanting to walk in the freezing cold of winter...

 

Xane yawned as he awoke. Today might be the day they end this damn war...

 

Alyt was already up, eating some cereal in the main lounge of the UO's ship. She was wearing much more casual sleeping clothing then her Knights armor that she had on the other day. In complete contrast was Niles who had just waken up, still in his heavy duty U.P.A. armor. "Who else is up?" Niles asked, walking from the open entrance of Tera Roth's ship where he had slept the night before. "No one else," Alyt replied, standing up from the couch and stretching a bit.

 

"I am," Xane yawned. "Still waitin' for everyone else, though."

 

"Morning Xane," Alyt smiled. "Morning," Niles chimed in, walking past the two. "Um... Xane... You don't happen to have any tooth paste slash brush I could borrow, do you?" Niles asked.

 

"There's a whole box full of supplies in the ship's storage room," Xane said. "There was a box full of toothpaste in there."

Soon afterward, Venture and Mellodia walked out of thir room, causing Xane to feel slightly less cheerful. Walking away towards the kitchen, Xane went to pour himself some cereal.

 

"Who are those two?" Alyt asked, walking into the kitchen to get herself another bowl. "Come on, Xane, you know its been a while. I need to... refamiliarize myself with everyone here," Alyt explained, reaching for the box, "So lets start out with the tall guy and that girl he was with. Who are they? Why did you sulk sadly away when they woke up, eh?"

 

"...Why don't you ask them?" Xane said, pouring milk in his cereal and beginning to eat it.

 

"Cause' I think it'll be more entertaining hearing it from you," Alyt replied, sitting on the counter. "Come on, Xane... I've known you for how many years now? Longer then any of these UO guys... if theres one person you can tell your problems to, its me. So who are those two and why are you acting so depressed because of them all out of nowhere?"

 

"I ain't actin' depressed!" Xane grunted. "Just irritated...'Cause she used to be mine. Ya happy now? I really wasn't that much upset about it until you started questions...."

 

"Oh!" Alyt said, her face breaking into a grin. "So... Xane's in love!" Alyt sung, the end of her love getting mixed in with laughter. "Who can I tell about this!" Alyt asked aloud, the first people coming to her mind were people from the Knights. With a lack of anyone who would really care in her head, Alyt jumped to the ground and began walking around Xane. "So... whats her name? And the other guys name?" Alyt asked, extremely interested...

 

Xane responded by eating more cereal. "Why don't you find something better to do?" Xane asked.

 

"Well... you know, I just want to know how your life is going right now... all aspects," Alyt said, leaning against the fridge, "Including love... does she know you have a thing for her? Whats her name?"
