OOC:Hello. Since we've been discussing pictures for a while, here is some fanart that I found and liked:

OOC: Maybe you could edit in the link instead of the picture, that would get rid of the page stretch.

They're good for Organization XIII, but I think we really want to kind of...take off from Kingdom Hearts, so different outfits and designs would be needed...Actually, me and Nulix are working on that right now.

 

OOC:Yeah, that probably would be a good idea. I am interested in seeing this new look you have in mind.

 

OOC: im interested to see the look you guys give as well....cant wait!

 

OOC:I also have an idea for another change in look. It kind of changes the past storyline a bit, but here it is: Darxess's weapon. It originally was going to be a single spear, but since gaia didn't offer spears as a weapon, I had to use a scythe instead. Then the weapon stuck. But, Marluxia already has a scythe. So, how about this: Darxess has always been a heavy magic user, much more so then hand-to-hand combat. So, how about instead of a scythe, it would be a cool looking colored battle staff, with a spiked point at the bottom of it? Wouldn't that be more unique?

 

OOC: Really? In my comic I just plan to give organization cloaks to those who started out in the Organization. Darxess, Wing, and possibly Xegreny or Oxyrt. They'll move on from cloaks later on. Keep on waitin' for chapter two people! It'll be here this month!

 

OOC: I'll have to see if I can upload a picture through my local library, lol.

A magic-enhancing battle staff would be really cool. And, for Pirate's sake, it matters in this: Our storyline has literally little to do with Kingdom Hearts, other than our basis being off it. Our story is extensive and well-thought out; if we could pull our RP away from Kingdom Hearts, we could publish our own idea, and maybe get an official video game, or book, or something. So, we do what we can to take our basis away from Kingdom Hearts and more into our own ideas.

 

OOC: But then we'd have to change a lot of the story arcs. Most notably the Quest for Retlaw. It started out as having a strong connection to Kingdom Hearts but branched out.

 

OOC:Yeah....but, much of our story is connected to established media. If tried too much to branch out on our own (Especially into actual media, like video games, actual published books, etc.), many of our previous storylines would have to be thrown out. Any reference to Kingdom Hearts? Gone. Midgar? Gone. Any character from any of the final fantasy series? Gone. Us as nobodies? Gone.

See a pattern? I understand that it would be awesome to have this as established media and to have a bunch of our fan junk and franchises, but I'm not sure that's possible...Not matter how awesome it would be. We have fan-art, and fan-made games, but anything produced into mass-media? I'm don't think we can make that conection...

 

OOC: Speaking of fan-based stuff, I've managed to give everyone their own unique themes in the game.

 

OOC:Cool, but just wondering, are you able to use actual music in the game, or just Midi's?

 

OOC: Unfortunately, midis are the only type of sound my rpg maker will allow. Though, I must say the midis are pretty good for midis. the game is going pretty good so far. I have about a hundred little problems to work out once I finally test it, but they're all minor problems.

 

OOC:Any idea on when a demo might be out?

 

OOC: Hey ya'll. As for the Kingdom Hearts removal stuff, there's no need to worry. For the thread we barely reference Kingdom Hearts anymore... except when we do. So to just cut out a few Kingdom Hearts things in the thread should be easy enough. Now for the fanfic it will be a bit harder, but I've come up with a sure fire plan for the Kingdom Hearts Reduction Program or KHRP as me and Mr. 36 like to call it. Its all about setup. You see, me and Dk can't introduce the fanfic with the Kingdom Hearts universe renamed. People know the similarity's. What we need is to introduce the fanfic with a completely different world, a world that cannot be easily compared to the Kingdom Hearts world. The world inside Kingdom Hearts, the fantasy world of season two.

We introduce this world, this peaceful world, its history, then we jump to the return of the Prince, out of nowhere, and how war broke out. We cut to the little village where strangers have arrived (the UO). We then follow them and not make it a story of the familiar in a strange land but of strangers in a familiar land.

Now, we follow them until the end of Season two and then for the next season or book we follow them in their history, which would be season one. Then we cut to season three which would be them returning to their old land and seeing it completely changed.

Its genius.

OOC: Wow it all sounds really great, but i only have one thing to say...as creator of inverted Prism i claim all rights....sorry im trying to write a couple of books about inverted prism and am a little paranoid of losing those idea lol

OOC: OK, one at a time.

First of all, Nulix approached me with a PM asking us how we could redo the fanfiction so it wouldn't be a Kingdom Hearts spinoff tale like it was at the beginning (although I can debate that). I'd already been thinking about it, so I came up with an idea that I think will take care of all our problems.

PIRATE - The story arcs won't be a problem; even from the beginning, the RP has not implemented Kingdom Hearts characters in every detail of its story, and more a story that uses characters and worlds that have already been stated to its advantage. No story arcs would be changed; simply some of the characters involved. And since all of the major characters are our own original stunts, replacing characters is no problem. As for the worlds, we took the names and flew with them. I sincerely doubt we'll have any trouble by simply renaming and changing a few details about the worlds, as they were practically our own original works with an old spin on them.

JAXED - See above. But, you also mentioned Nobodies. I'm working on it, but I already have an alternative to Kingdom Hearts, and the Heartless. I also have an idea of what to do for the UO and other people like them, since the Nobodies are really based off a "racist" theme, at least in our RP. If we made the UO members have something wrong with them, such as a sickness that many people believe is highly contagious, we have the same problems with a different theme.

WING - No one wants to steal your ideas. Honestly, I'm working on my own stuff too. But I do see this as an opportunity to tie our works together; we could have the UO be the climax of both our stories! If you're not okay with that, it's totally fine, I understand. But I'd love to have Wing in the UO.

Any more questions? My internet crashed yesterday, but I fixed it this morning.

EDIT: Oh, and what Nulix said above was a brief description of the three main mega-arcs of the UO; we're going to start where we arrive in "Kingdom Hearts", and then as we exit, we'll recap back to the beginning when we first formed (though that will probably be through flashbacks), and then skip to after we come out of Kingdom Hearts to where we are now. There might be another arc in there, splitting off about the time we really began fighting the Brotherhood.
