The Ultimate Organization III

Xane sighed and sat back on a nearby bar stool. Three days? Something was up in this world. They should be investigating.

 

"Here's your meal," the hostess said, as several servants came out holding trays. "Hope you enjoy them."

"Bring another one for the lady here, Ms. Sybille if I heard right," he said. "How do you want me to pay?"

"Oh, we'll worry about that later," the hostess said. "You are staying the night, correct?"

"Three days, actually," Xardius said. "Not counting today."

"Very well, we'll discuss it then," the hostess said as the servants set the plates down and all of them scooted off.

Xardius scowled.

 

Darxess sat on an old cathedral, leaning against a steeple, watching all the people go about their normal lives. Darxess was just glad he could finally return to his. He was trapped in that prison a long time. If it wasn't for Orb, he might have been still stuck there. Which is ironic, he headed to the prison to save Orb in the first place. A fact that Orb still hasn't let him live down. Darxess sighed. He was finally free. After nearly a year, he escaped and managed to finish the last of his pursuers, which wasn't a small order, either. But that was all part of the past now. There was just one problem. As nice as the view was from here, he had not even the slightlest idea where he was. Orb didn't let him forget that, either. In fact, Orb was in the middle of nagging Darxess for getting them in this situation when he started beeping. Darxess rolled his eyes "What now, Orb?"
"A transmission."
"Well...?"
"Apparently Xardius located my signal. He telling us to meet him at a place called "Avalanche". If I didn't send out that signal, we would still be stuck here, no clue what to do next."
"Yeah, yeah, quit your bragging. Where in the blue blazes is "Avalanche" anyway?"
"Well, thanks to my tracking software..."
"Just stop it Orb, no one cares. Just tell me where to go."
"I could just follow the signal and leave you here, you know."
"Right, and all I would have to follow your signal. Now get serious Orb, our ship is ruined, so we need to find a way off this rock."
"You're right, for once. Ok, we'll just take the first shuttle out of here."
"Takes money."
"Umm....Hijack?"
"I just got of prison, I'm not doing anything to risk getting thrown back in."
"Ok then, we're stuck here."
Darxess facepalmed. "Now what?"
"How long would it take to get money?"
"At least a day. If not longer."
"Leave that to me."
Darxess scowled "I already told you! No breaking the law!"
"Don't worry, I won't." and on that note, Orb flew off, leaving Darxess looking dumbfounded. Darxess just shrugged. If Orb wanted to go on a wild goose chase, that was his problem. However...He knew Orb wouldn't listen. Darxess stood up and sighed. "Why aren't things ever easy?"

 

Xane looked at his plate as if it were poison for a second, then decided to eat it anyway.

"You sure this isn't a Brotherhood trick?" Xane asked. "Maybe Azull or somebody."

 

Xardius shook his head. "It's definitely not Azull. He's out of this war."

He began stuffing potatoes into his mouth, but paused long enough to mutter. "Told me so himself actually. The more I learn about the guy, the more I like him."

OOC: Jaxed...strikes back!

 

OOC:Yeah, I'm here. Darxess and Orb are going on one last little adventure before arriving with the rest of the group.

 

"Isn't he kind of psychotic?" Xane asked, between bites. "And...do you really think Bella's dead?"

 

Xardius looked over at Sybille and Xane and himself with a quick bubble of air that made their conversation inaudible for a moment.

"Of course not," Xardius said. "I think Sybille is either holding her hostage or is working for the person who is. That's why three days. Either she busts herself out, or we do it for her."

"Azull is definitely not psychotic," Xardius continued, dropping the bubble. "He's probably smarter than both of us put together with some room to spare."

He smiled. "And, of course, his dramatic exit from the scene makes me like him considerably more. Azull leaving the Brotherhood was the equivalent of him flipping Scourge off. No one does that, in my opinion, and doesn't suffer the consequences. But Azull did."

EDIT: He shrugged. "It doesn't really matter what I think however."

 

"She probably is" Sybille muttered glumly,"I'm lucky to have not escaped with any scratches. She on the other hand, last time I saw her, no way the Grim Reaper is passing her up..." she muttered om reply

OOC: Gah, well I have to go. School night y'know? See ya!

 

OOC: See ya Hidden. And my extensive edit on the last post should clear any confusion between posts. :) Actually, I'm "compiling" homework right now. It's kind of annoying, because it's spread out everywhere...

 

Wing sat up in a start, he had be separated from the group?

"This is happening to often....Crissillia. And It's getting a bit old." He said with a small smile so she knew he was only joking, after all, getting angry with a God was never a good idea.

"I'm sorry, but It was necessary. You can travel to Avalanche to meet up with your friends after you hear me out."

Wing nodded and his expression was serious, he could tell something was wrong.


"Jack Swanson, the Former Enigmatic Knight, your friend, has the Virus...He's taking it to Scourge."

Wing blinked a few times to clear his head. "But the Virus is dead...I killed it."

Crissillia shook her head and frowned. "Darkness is powerful." She said in a tone barely above a whisper.

"Just be careful..." She said before vanishing.

Wing sat there for a second before throwing his hand out in front of him and opening a portal that he leaped through, Avalanche was his next stop.


"Now to find the others..." He said walking through the city streets, his locating Twilight came in handy as he found them sitting in a restaurant/inn combination.

"Looks like Xardius and Xane added a friend..." He said looking through the window.

"No I cant join them just yet, I need to make sure Jack doesn't get to Scourge..."

He opened another portal and let himself be taken by the twilight.

 

OOC: I'm back. Even if I'm offline, stick around for a few minutes, and I'll show back up. Got nothing better to do while I do my final bit of homework for the semester...

FYI, Xardius is waiting for Xane's reply, and all the other characters are on standby until this plot is finished, so don't expect much out of me. I want to do something here, but I won't be able to until we're all back together again.

 

OOC: Hm, that might take a while considering the attendance lately... But hopefully I'm wrong. =P

BIC: Sybille, not having noticed the barrier, continued talking to herself, seemingly relaxed and enjoying the food. Her neon eyes took in the surroundings, memorizing everything around her.

OOC: Meh, to make up my hasty retreat yesterday...

 

A man behind Xardius and Xane suddenly grabbed them both by the shoulders...

OOC: I'm back! And I'll be on almost daily from now on!

 

OOC: OK, I'll be a little more online then. You two were really the ones I was waiting for anyway.

BIC: Xardius pushed more potatoes in his mouth, then stood and turned...

 

As the two turned the man started to laugh. "Haha! I knew it! Xane Muscle and Xardius... uh, wind? Lightening? Something with those elements..." Nulix muttered, before getting his mind back on track. "I walked in, gonna get a drink, I see you sitting here! What are the odds! Guess what? I solved all the worlds problems! I'm a respected yet silent hero in the Light Worlds." Nulix smiled, before pulling something out of his pocket. "And look, U.P.A. credit card. You heard yet? Six Sora System Relocation act has been reversed, Lexx is now Secretary Lexx once more, Gran Hairis of the U.P.A. now Skinnar, partially thanks to me!"

 

OOC: Problems with computer = ...

BIC: Xardius took a step back, to give Nulix some room. "You hungry? This place has pretty good food, actually. But, buddy, I got some bad news...But maybe we'll wait until later, huh? Have a seat. I'll get some food."

Xardius walked back up to the hostess who smiled at him and nodded, gesturing at a waiter, who ducked into the kitchen. She leaned close.

"Listen, you're Darius Lionheart, right?" the hostess whispered, the smile still on her face. Xardius was rather surprised when he realized that it wasn't fake.

"Yes, that's me," he said. "Who's asking?"

The hostess laughed. "I am, of course! But, I'm asking because..."

Xardius' eyes widened and he turned quickly, staring upwards at the ceiling, near the entrance of the door.

"Hold that thought," he said quietly, and walked up the nearby stairs.

 

"Yo Xardius!" Nulix yelled, following Xardius as he went upstairs. "Where you heading? Whats the bad news? I heard Noxas and Bella came back, got her some... some uh literature, and some money... you think thats an impersonal gift?"

 

Sybille looked up, noticing Xardius had left, "Where is he going?" She saw Nulix as well, a thought suddenly occurring to her and she quickly grabbed the necklace that was still in her pocket. "I do wonder..." She stayed seated though.

 

"Nulix, Bellatrix is dead," Xardius said. "Oh, whoops. Sorry. I meant to break it to you a little...ah, it doesn't really matter now does it. Get the story from Sybille if you want. The girl at the table. I just kind of felt...something weird for a second..."
