The Ultimate Organization III

Sybille's face paled, dropping the apple, and scowled, "What!? You have to be kidding! Let me go, you have no proof!"

 

"Your story on Bella was kind of garbage," Xane said. "That's our proof right there."

 

"Perhaps not," Xardius said, pulling rope from somewhere with his free hand, "but that's not really the reason I'm tying you up."

"Like it or not, messengers always get the worst end of the deal: they're not trusted by the receivers, they're used by their employers, and they often find messy ways to end up dead. I can't have you running around, because I'll probably find you in a ditch somewhere if you're simply mistaken, and if you are deliberately lying, I won't ever see you again if I let you go."

He shrugged and tied her to a chair. "Just get comfortable. And don't worry. It's not like we're going to torture you for information. I already know where Bellatrix is."

"So..." he said, turning to Xane. "You watch her, I'll go get Bellatrix."

 

"Sybille" didn't attempt to struggle, a sneer twisting her lovely features, "Heh, even if you did lock me up you wouldn't know where to find her. I'm the only one who knows where she is, well that you know of anyway. Heh, believe in your false info. Give it up, she's doomed and so are all of you"

 

Darxess tried to stop Orb, but it was too late. Orb slammed right into the pilot of a patrol vehicle right as he was taking off. Still in its auto-pilot rountines, the ship began taking off even as its pilot fell out of his seat and ten feet below to the ground.
Orb:"Need a lift?"
Darxess:"Orb! Don't you know how much trouble..."
He stopped because he could already here the alarms. Someone witnessed the attack and people were starting to flock to the scene.
Darxess:"Ok, screw it. Let's get out of here!"
Orb:"Will do." Orb already began reprogramming sub-routines to the location of the signal Xardius sent. Darxess climbed into the seat just as it shot out of the dock. Of course, they weren't the only patrol ship to shoot out of there. There were followed by a small squad of six patrol ships. Darxess turned around to see them and sighed. "Why can't things ever be easy?" Darxess flexed his hands. "I guess its my turn to save our hides, isn't it?" Darxess wrote out a small symbol on the wall. Shots from the ships behind screamed past the ship or into the shields.
Orb:"Shield at 37% strength. Our current probablity of escaping is..."
Darxess:"Just keep that kind of thing to yourself."
Orb:"100%."
Darxess smiled. "Well, in that case..." Darxess placed his palm on the symbol he wrote. The symbol glowed.

Boom.

Orb:"Shields are down. Hull is weakening. New probability of survival is..."
Darxess:"Keep quiet!"
The symbol spread to encompass the whole ship. Then, in a bolt of lightning, the symbol began spreading to other ships. The other ships' reactors died from an energy overload and fell back to the planet, which just enough emergency power to activate escape pods. Darxess's ship then broke through the atmosphere and into space, with the symbol finally dying down and fading away. Darxess smiled again. With those ships behind him, he was free and back in control, the universe was at his doorstep. He didn't even have to knock.

Darxess:"Ok, plot a course to that signal you got from Xardius. We need to get out of here before more ships arrive. And try to make it look like a blind jump without any distinct path, we don't need any nosey ships follow us to cause more trouble."
Orb:"It is as good as done."
The ship hummed for a bit, and blasted into hyperspace.

 

"We're doomed?" Xane asked. "You don't remember who we are, do ya?."

 

Xardius shook his head. "And about not knowing where Bellatrix is...You've definitely got another thing coming."

He checked his watch. "All right, I'm leaving. Be back with Bellatrix soon. I'd take Nulix but he's not around at the moment. Maybe he'll hijack into my ship..."

OOC: Leave that open for Nul.

BIC: Xardius walked out of the room, and down the stairs, tapping on his cell phone. Within a few moments, his old Phoenix ship roared down and he climbed in.

He waited for a few minutes, in case Nulix wanted to get on, then blasted off, typing in the coordinates he had already decided on.

He hit the warp button and went into hyperspace...

 

Xane waited for Sybille to answer...

 

Orb:"Uh sir..."
Darxess:"What is now, Orb? Can't you see I'm celebrating my escape? It can wait."
Orb:"Uh no, it can't. The signal has changed location."
Darxess:"What?"
Orb:"Just what I said, this signal is moving. Xardius got tired of waiting I guess."
Darxess:"No, that's not it. He would be reasonable enough to wait, that is, under normal circumstances, of course...Which is why this isn't good news. Something happened."
Orb:"Excuse me, but what happened?"
Darxess:"Well how in the heck am I supposed to know? I was locked in a cage for half a year, who knows what happened?!"
Orb:"I see...so, should I keep heading toward the original location of the signal, or should I head to its new location."
Darxess:"...I simply don't know. We need more information."
Orb:"Right. So what do we do?"
Darxess:"The early scuffle didn't damage the ship's communicators, did it?"
Orb:"Unfortunately, it did."
Darxess:"Crap."
Orb:"However, it may be possible that with some time for repairs, I may be able to boost the signal and contact him."
Darxess:"Good. Start on it immediatly...I hope that whatever the cause for him to suddenly move like this isn't too serious...I just hope everyone is still there. Orb, while your at it, check for any other signal from the Organization. Make sure that everyone is ok. Its been a while, and I don't know if everyone is still alive..." Darxess sat down and looked at his feet. Perhaps he was just overreacting...perhaps Xardius just simply did get tired of waiting...but still, no harm in being to careful, right?
"Anything else you would like to pile on me, your higness?" Orb said in a sarcastic tone.
Darxess:"No thanks, that will be enough for now, slave."
Orb grumbled to himself, but continued working. Even he knew that something wasn't quite right with Xardius leaving like that, and he intended to find out the reason why.

OOC:I know the reason is because Bellatrix is missing, but Orb and Darxess don't, but they are about to find out.

 

"Tch, we know who we're messing with" Sybille retorted, "Do you know? This elite group has a couple tricks up its sleeve to get rid of the darkness that plagued our worlds"

OOC: Gah, sorry, had to deal with something.

 

OOC: Right, and Xardius (being the idiot that he is), forgot to tell you he was leaving. So it makes sense.

BIC: Xardius waited for Hidden, who he didn't know personally, to put more plot online so he could do something other than stare at his feet, and fly through hyperspace.

OOC: Always need a fourth wall shattered.

EDIT OOC: OK, you did it.

BIC: Xardius braked as he neared Bellatrix's soul, and put the cloak on. Moving at roughly a speed that wouldn't be noticed as anything but a strong wind, Xardius maneuvered near the building where Bellatrix was and landed.

Xardius waited a few moments to see if anyone noticed him...

 

OOC: It's cool, hidden.

BIC: "What elite group?" Xane asked.

 

The place where Bellatrix was being held was a old, dilapidated place that looked like it needed some repairing. The buldings were old and falling apart, vines and weeds crawling all over them and seemed to almost be consuming them. Mist and fog made it difficult to see, although there wasn't much to see anyway. There were no flowers, trees, or even water. It was dry as dry could be, and seemed to be empty of life. There were white shadows waiting among the lifeless town, seeking those that might come.
In the center of all this was a warehouse that seemed in better condition than the rest of its surroundings, its metal walls rusting from the acid rain. Inside it was huge, with mirrors placed to create a reflective maze, some were cracked. Others seemed to eerily glow and shadows awaited inside the mirrors, waiting for any new comers who wouldn't know its secrets. At the center of the maze of mirrors was Bellatrix, chained to a chair, inside a cage. Guards surrounded her, an assortment of weapons among them, although they all wore the same white uniform, spotless and neat. Among them though was a female of around twenty, with vibrant golden hair, passionate crimson eyes, delicate as a porcelain doll but as dangerous and beautiful as a poisonous rose.
E, she was called, and the one in charge. She smirked, looking at a cell, a text message displayed. They're on their way.
"Envy, go out"

"So it seems only one cared enough to come eh?" A raspy voice said behind Xardius.

"The Seven Deadly Sins, sworn to protect the worlds from nothings like you" Sybille explained, "Irony, I know"

 

Xardius climbed out of the ship, and headed for the warehouse, which was close. Entering, he blinked as he saw himself reflected.

"I need to shave," he said, looking closely. "Wait a sec, no I don't. I just did."

Shrugging, he began walking forward, using the link with Bella's soul to guide him, idly humming to himself.

OOC: It seems Xardius is not afraid of a spooky hall of mirrors, XD. I didn't know until now.

EDIT: Ack, Hidden!

BIC: Xardius nearly jumped out of his skin, but managed not to, because that would have been messy.

He didn't turn around because he figured if he did, no one would be there. So he shrugged, yawned, and kept walking.

 

"Knights. Air Army. Dai Jee. U.P.A. Brotherhood," Xane shrugged counting down. "Then there's you guys. I'm shiverin', lady," Xane said, sarcastically.

 

OOC: Sorry! XD

BIC: "Oi, old man, can't you hear?" Envy said, louder, as he jumped in front of Xardius, preventing him from going any farther. He had long, forest green hair, emerald eyes, a pale complexion, and seemed extremely thin and gaunt. He wore a tight, blue muscle shirt and navy cargos. "Name's Envy, and I'll be your pain dealer today"
"You should be" 'Sybille/Cecille' whispered as she changed her appearence so quickly it would have been missed if a person blinked. She had golden hair, sapphire eyes, a nice tanned body, and wore the same clothes. "Ah, finally my true self. Name's Lust, and I would love it if you let me go" she said in a silky irresistable voice.

 

"Let me guess, you're really not that in your real form; you're a giant ugly beast," Xardius said, making an obscure reference to some manga or other. "Never mind. Tell you what: I can either beat you up and leave, or we can play a game. If I can prove I'm more envious than you, you'll leave me alone. How does that sound?"

 

"Wow, that sounds like such wonderful options. Wish I had thought of that" Envy muttered, "Hm, I really shouldn't but knowing that I'll win, sure I'll play along"

 

OOC: Huh. Well, this is looking bad for the good guys...


BIC: Xane coughed slightly. "Uh,..Well...Damn," Xane frowned, not taking his eyes off Lust. "See, this is the type of trick where I'd just stop looking at you and not be affected...But since you might escape, I can't risk that option. So nice try lady, but you won't be tricking me," Xane said, noticing his hands already starting to untie the rope and quickly tightened them and pulled them away.

 

"OK!" Xardius nodded. "So let's start by listing what you're envious for. You put your list there, I'll write my list over here; when you're done, let me know and we'll compare. Whoever's list is longer, wins. We'll number them to make it fair. Ready? Go!"

Xardius walked over to his spot and began writing in the dirt.
