"Aw, come on" Lust urged, smiling with such beauty and passion that any normal man would have given up not a second later, "Its not like I can do anything. I'm stuck here, tied to this uncomfortable chair that's giving me such pain, are you sure you couldn't? A big, strong handsome man like you wouldn't leave such a helpless maiden like me imprisoned with these painful ropes digging into my skin would you?"
Envy nodded, already writing Xardius's list, at the top. He was furiously writing in the dirt, his list already consisting of over fifty things, all his concentration on his list.

 

OOC: I'll post again when he finishes, Hidden. Meanwhile...

BIC: Xane's phone rang.

 

"But.. the way you say it makes it sound like the best thing ever," Xane said, sweating. This was the hardest battle he's ever fought in his life. "Then again, it definitely wouldn't hurt to let a woman as beautiful as you go free," Xane shrugged, though not reaching for the rope just yet.

EDIT: Xane's phone rang.

"Hang on a second," Xane said, reaching to answer his phone.

 

Lust frowned, seemingly even prettier when she was upset.

"Ha! Done!" Envy grinned, standing up while brushing the dirt off his finger.

 

Xardius was long gone; why wait for an infinite list to end?

But he left a snicker bar.

Xardius continued to walk down the passageway towards Bellatrix, getting rather close.

 

OOC: That was hilarious...But why did Xane's cell phone ring?

 

Envy looked up, seeing the snickers bar. He bent down and wrote, Serious Skills, at the end of the list. "Oh boy, E won't be too happy with me" he muttered, sitting down.
A shadow crept among the mirrors, keeping up with Xardius, the sound of dripping water could be heard. "I would stop if I were you" it whispered eerily, seemingly from everywhere. A dark cloud formed ahead, blocking his path, a shape beginning to form that was made of black water. Two aqua eyes stared out at Xardius.

 

OOC: I thought you were going to answer it, so waited.

BIC: "Yo, Xane boy," Tera Roth drawled. "How's it hangin'?"

"Give me the phone," came Highwind's voice, then louder. "Hey, Xane. I thought you might be in trouble right now."

EDIT OOC: Sorry Hidden, didn't see your post...

BIC: Xardius poked one of the aqua eyes...

 

"Trouble?" Xane asked. "No, I'm just talking to this girl named Lust. She's probably the best lookin' girl I've seen in a while."

 

"Erm, Xane, aren't you forgetting something?" Highwind asked.

 

The figure rippled and disappeared, reappearing behind Xardius, "Water never stays still does it? You should move as well, move out of here. Just turn back and leave her to die, at least you'll live right? Tell the others you were too late, they'll understand. Just leave and you won't get hurt" Puddles of black water surrounded them, ominously glowing.
Lust giggled. "Let me go" she whispered, her cheeks bright red.

 

"Like what?" Xane asked, thinking about untying Lust even more after hearing he giggle.

 

"YOUR !@#%)(*&#% JOB!!!!" Highwind screamed, temporarily deafening Xane.

Beyond that, he shoved darkness through the phone and blinded Xane temporarily.

"There," he muttered, although Xane couldn't hear him.

Xardius touched some water and it began boiling.

"Nah, I can't do that," he said, idly walking through a puddle and forcing it to evaporate. "It makes me want to just burn something..."

 

OOC: ...I'd rather have Xane fight this on his own...You could at least leave him with his hearing. Now Lust has a better chance of escaping.

BIC: Xane couldn't really do anything at this point except nothing.

 

OOC: I did say it was temporary...Just have it not last longer than a few seconds.

BIC: "Such strong language, Highwind," Tera Roth reproved.

"What are you talking about?" Highwind said. "Those were computer noises."

"Oh," Tera Roth said, sounding thoughtful.

 

The effects of Highwind's attack wore off after a while, leaving Xane slightly agitated...Until he glanced at Lust again.

 

"Well I bet you can't burn better than me" another voice said, breaking through one of the mirrors, a bright smile on the young face, "The one ,the only, Pride! Here to put you to shame!" He had spiky blond hair, fiery golden eyes, tanned, well built, the looks of a male supermodel. He weilded a long broadsword engraved with latin phrases and a golden hilt in the shape of a dragon wing. "Are you ready for this!?" he yelled as he swung at Xardius, the blade suddenly on fire.

EDIT:Lust had begun to untie herself, the dagger in her hand coming in handy as she cut herself loose. Seeing he was momentarily distracted, she let the ropes fall loose and grinned, "Sorry but I got tired of waiting" She chuckled and threw the dagger at him with a deadly intent.

 

"Sorry, kid," Xardius said as the sword came down at him. "But where Pride comes in, I've got you beat."

He caught the sword in one hand, and smirked.

"I'm sure you're bursting with insatiable pride," Xardius explained. "But you've got a problem. Pride is directly proportional to power...and your power compared to mine is so small as to be a small grain of sand compared to my mountain. So I have that much more pride than you. So beat it kid."

 

"Yeah right!" Pride yelled, slightly shaken. His face was pale and rage burned in his eyes, "I'm Pride and no one can have any more pride than me!"
An arrow flew at Xardus at lightning quick speed, its tip covered in poison.

 

OOC: Sorry, had to do something.

BIC: Xane caught the dagger between his fingers.

"So, what's to stop me from beating you right here and now?" Xane asked, still obviously distracted by Lust's looks.
