    By the way, Even if you Bottomless Trap Hole him or use Torrential Tribute etc. his effect will still prevent you from using Counter Traps this turn. He doesn't have to be on the field for his effect to work.

    it gives you a chance to chain to his summon, but his effect is continuous, it doesn't activate.

    Just so you know, You can't use Stardust Dragon's effect or another Starlight Road to negate this because it's an optional effect that might miss.
