Which KH Game has the best story?

KH1.
It was the game that...Set everything into motion for me.
I think it was really done well and I enjoyed it a lot.
I felt thrown into the game, like I could relate to the characters.

As for CoM, I'm not sure.

And KH2; I was too busy shaking me head and wondering how they got so stupid.​

 

Kingdom Hearts II was just not done as well and didn't give me as much excitement as the other two games plus it was ridden with yaoi fanservice as well as regular fanservice. The Organization was already declared the main antagonists so early into the game that I just stopped playing it and return to Re:CoM. It did not have a dark storyline like CoM nor KH. II followed too much of the movie plots and did not have anything to do with the Org. until the middle of the game.

Kingdom Hearts I and CoM come very close for me.

KH had the best original story out of the series while CoM was the most exciting.

I still pick the first Kingdom Hearts.

 

I really look at characters when I look at storyline...

KH1: Sora shows absolutely none of the personality his description says he has in Jiminy's journal. It's like he's a different person. Kairi and Riku are pretty much nonexistent. The most character development comes from Donald and Goofy.

Chain of Memories: Sora CALM DOWN. Riku's character development in Reverse Rebirth is awesome, though. Better than KH1.

Kingdom Hearts 2: The best; Sora actually acts like himself, and you actually can see who you're playing as, and who Riku is.

Both could have had more complex plots though: KH1 - my world got destroyed, find my friends; KH2 - save Riku and go home, yippee. :P
