The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

This is a revision of the story of prequel to our first keyblade war rp the plot will be different and some adjustments will be made.

The world order has been peaceful for the last four centuries under the rule of a powerful and prestigious government lead by man and by the royal majesty of light himself, the Emperor of light for a human seems to have lived a rather long and prosperous life. His rain has brought freedom and unity amongst all and with a power military force at his disposal has put many criminals of the dark into chains or even banished. Because of that, the era of light has been going strong. But as things progress farther, the darkness cannot be held in check for so long, soon the powerful emperor won't be able to stand up for much longer. Even with his army and loyal guardians known as the Knight's Council,( a group consisting of highly trained military officers who can in fact wield a keyblade who serve the royal family and government with their lives and live by the knight's code. ) doing everything they can to keep the world at peace. Darkness will always return and corrupt, and with that corruption, criminals of the dark are allowed to break free from their chains and cause chaos in order to retaliate back at their enemies. But soon dark warriors won't be the only threat to cause disorder in the balance of the worlds.

The Academy of Light, a prestigious school funded by the Light Government in order to provide a place for those who wish to dedicate their skill and services to the Light Empire. Long ago people who wished to learn skill and increase their knowledge in battle, magic, and more were usually taught by a master but now the Government wishes to allow young and old to find their place on how they are suppose to serve the Realm of Light. A group of gifted youth attends this school currently, they are unaware that in the future they will soon effect what will become the fate of the worlds. To them everything is carefree and this is another bland year of school, but soon what they would call a normal life is going to be interrupted by the ugly truth.

You need no knowledge of the events happening later in the series since this is a revision of the first one, you will learn all on your way. But please make sure things remain realistic, I don't want Sora magically appearing years before he can even mutter a word.

This roleplay is part of the long living series that runs from beginning of the known keyblade war all the way into the future, a series that has been here since 2007 and is based on a group of characters who's lives, triumphs and misfortunes run parallel with the goings on of the original kh plot. This roleplay tells of the true drama, pain, and suffering unfolding beneath the noses of those we know all to well in Kingdom hearts. It tells of the truth and secrets that must remain hidden. In the Kingdom Hearts timeline, this would have happened 5 years before the happening of birth by sleep. It shows the clash of events that lead up to the outbreak of the keyblade and the first few major battles during the beginning. So it is the very first one in the series

Bio: A seemingly normal young girl attend the Academy of Light, in the past before Phisoxa had a place called home, she was barely three and she had been found all alone in the poppy field of a nearby noble family farm. The man of the property later took her in since his son needed a sibling, Phisoxa didn't know where she came from or who she was but the man whom she now called father saw a resemblence of him in her that reminded him of his infant daughter he had lost long before, after Phisoxa's father died, Phisoxa's mother who was increasingly jealous of the attention she got from her father married a new husband who continuously beat and humiliated the young girl, after that Phisoxa was orphaned after her mother and abusive step father were killed after a raid on her small mountain town located in the world of Modeo. After they died she was without any close family and even when the rest of the Mindell family insisted that she return to the family fold, she refused and wanted a future for herself, not to go on living under someone else's control and perhaps continue progressing with the arranged engagement of her to the family lead's son. Instead she made arrangements to leave her hometown with a group of rescue workers and officials of the government who had come to oversee the disaster to take up a occupation as a apprentice to a retired knight and then she became a squire in training. When her master took up a job at well known school of the Academy of Light, her master insisted that she'd come and that her entrance fee would be paid by her because he knew she would become great in the future and saw potential in her. Phisoxa still had a childhood dream within her that she still hadn't given up even after such a dramatic past, she wanted to become one of those valiant guardians who she admired, the Knight's Council. So each and everyday Phisoxa worked, intent on working up to that dream that she'd be up there with the stars someday and be treated with the same respect and admiration. With her master watching over she feels confident she could reach her goal. A little bit of information on the Mindell family, the Mindell family is the 3rd closest to the Empreor of all nobles, they specialize in the political and social game as well as being a total monoply in making money and managing finances. The Mindells are the most stereotyped family of all three. People believe that the Mindells are greedy money and attention hogs who care only about themselves, not only that but a common belief about the Mindells is that the lovely Mindell ladies are nothing but gold-diggers and know their way around men's hearts so that they can twist them under their own power, that is why Phisoxa was usually bothered by most of the boys during the Academy because they thought she was that type of girl who'd do anything for money and charm.

Bio: Nathaniel was born and raised normally in the family fold of the second most prestigious noble family in all the land, only step down from the Mundvoi family. The Foleski family is a military based family and provides many strong warriors as a show of their loyalty to his Majesty. The Foleskis show a great amount of hatred towards the noble family as the Mindell family, they are always competing fiercely for the Emperor's attention thinking that one is better then the other. However, growing up in such a political environment, Nathaniel never expressed as much hatred as his relatives did towards the Mindell family because when he was a young boy some of his older cousins became enraged and jealous of a well respected landowner belonging to the Mindell family, but the problem is they couldn't seem to find the man alone to show him who's boss so instead they attacked his beautiful wife tortured her in the most cruel of ways and then they threatened to kill her infant daughter she had been carrying with her. They were going to do the deed too if Nathaniel a young boy, yet one of high rank stopped them in time and took the baby away and hid her, caring for the child while her mother had been dropped back off at the front of the Mindell estate as a warning from the Foleskis, after that the child had been handed over to Rould, who was much more youthful at the time, exclaiming that he knew a family who wanted a child and ever since then, that child had been lost in time and whereabouts unknown. Ever since that day Nathaniel trained with Rould and managed to make it into the council after most of the old council members were wiped out during the secret search and seizure war of Dark criminals. With Rould's help he eventually rose to the top and became leader. Nathaniel may have been very care giving when he was a child but now Nathaniel is much more steely and careless, he gets easily jealous of people when they have something that he wants and he is not afraid to use force to take it, because since when he was little, his younger brother usually got the attention and he forgotten most of the time.

Age: Appears to be 25,His face is youthful but the way he acts and the look in his eyes appears to be of someone much older.
Race: Appears to be human, but something seems off about him.

Relationships: Well acquainted with his father and the entire Mundvoi family, he has been forcefully engaged to a young noble woman by the name of Portia Lennox who he finds to be a complete annoyance. He pledges his loyalty to the Emperor and since his family is the closest noble family to the that of the royal family, Dante always waits the Emperor in attendance since his father is too unwell at the moment to continue that job, allowing his favorite son to gain the favor of the Emperor.
Side/Occupation: Not necessarily light or dark, but wherever the government is wishing to lead. He is the son of a wealthy landowner and he is already the vice president of Mundvoi industries, a company that specializes in top of the line architecture and technology. Basically he is like a celebrity for his ranking in the world and his looks.
Appearance: 6'0 tall. A very attractive and handsome man, with long black hair that reaches his shoulders and skin lightly tinted with a warm tan and dark blue midnight colored eyes. He wears business like attire most of the time and when hes not being formal,he wears a fancy assortment of coats and his ears are pierced so he wears golden drop earrings. Bio: A man who appears to be self centered and is enjoying the benefits of being handsome and wealthy so he is never without a lady friend. But lately, all this dating of celebrities and models, running his father's business and fancy and lavish parties has begun to bore him. It was the same routine all of his life, he never actually had to do much work nor did he seem to know how life was really like beyond luxury. He needed to take a holiday away from that and perhaps put his skill to the test and challenge himself. He is a skilled fighter that is, hes been practicing fencing and dueling ever since he was a child but never got a sense of what it would be like to be truly challenged. Another reason why he left home on a holiday is to escape having to deal with the relationship between him and his arranged fiancee, Portia Lennox who is a total control freak and a mad woman.

Bio: A man well respected in the ranks of the council, he is the one who once was the master of Lord Nathaniel ever since Nathaniel was young. He is last surviving member of the old knight's council and carries the knowledge of the old days with him. He is good with tactics and logic and seems to succeed at any game you would put before him without much thought. Rould is usually kind , wise, and collected, a good contrast to his pupil. His son, Athiol is part of the council and his daughter into her medical career. Not too long ago he lost his wife to a deadly illness and his life has been lonely ever since.

Bio: Isaac is a skilled fighter, able to use his Mutsunokami with precise movement. He can wield the nodachi with one hand, which is unheard of because of the weight of the blade. A single swipe could cut through solid rock. He is also gifted with the use of magic, with no specific elemental affinity. At the age of 11, he could already use "-ga" ranked spells. His past is a bit of a mystery to him as he has no memories of his childhood. He has absolutely no recollection of his family or where he was originally from. During a trip with his family, he fell from a high cliff and into a forest below. He nearly died from the fall. Luckily for him, there was someone who lived nearby that heard him as he fell. The fall gave him amnesia as he had hit his head multiple times as he fell. The stranger nursed him back to health and taught him how to wield a sword properly. After a few years, he left and went out to find his own living. He's been doing mercenary work ever since using his trusty Mutsunokami which he got from the kind stranger that found him.

Miscellaneous: He tends to smoke whenever he is stressed, but smokes socially as well. Bio: A mean looking guy but actually very kind. His past is a mystery but his loyalty to the emperor is unquestionable. Rath has been with the knight's council for many years and has proven his strength many times. The tales of his strength and many victories begets many rumours about him. Although he can wield a kryblade he prefers to uses a variety of sword, only using his keyblade when he must. Despite these plain old blades Rath's skills are not to be underestimated as he has beaten many foes with these blades alone. He can be a very kind person, but on the battlefield that changes.

Name: Diuccio Guerrio
Nicknames: Referred to as "Di" by those he has admitted as being closest to him.
Age: 20
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Side: Light... for the time being, at least.
Occupation: Junior Teacher At The Light Academy
Relationships: Between the latter portion of his student days, and the period he's spent as a Junior Teacher, he's worked with several of the students, and is on friendly terms with them. He often forgets that he is in fact in that he's essentially a teacher when around those he brushed shoulders with as a student.

Appearance:

Diuccio Erects himself at a height of 5'10'', and walks with an ever present stride of a level of confidence fitting to his position, and one of an almost cocky pride, depending on who he's displaying himself to. His complexion is particularly dark, as far as fair-skinned goes, owing to a deep, red-hinting tan that is a near constant in his appearance. In build, he's pretty lean, but borders towards being a bit bulkier than his height would necessitate, though it's not so much of an impairment as much as it is a visual standout. With a roundness evident of a rough, slightly distorted sphere about his head, he comes off, facially speaking, as a bit rough in expression and appearance. The lower portion of his face is glazed over by short strands of beard fuzz. His eyes have a look about them that is typically evident of him being on edge or excited, even if he's feeling just fine.

Weapon:
Twin Short Swords - Diuccio's typical weaponry consists of a pair of short swords that have been his family's primary heirlooms for as long as he can recall. The blades share a exact design with each other, and are reminiscent of a Romanesque style of sturdiness, simplicity, and effectiveness. With little decoration to them, the blades are made all the more efficient and likely for use in battle. As far as actual design goes, they consist of hilts at their bases, which at roughly five inches in length, offer little space for the blades to commandeered from the hands of their wielder. Save for a short, rounded bulge of a hand guard, the blades of the swords extend seamlessly from the hilts, measuring at roughly two feet in length. The length of the blades is a generally smooth run, though not exactly straight, as both bear a slight outward curvature towards the top, which resolves into a nail sharp tip.

Keyblade - Rapture; The fact that Duccio even wields a Keyblade, or ever did wield one at any point is a fact that his master was sure to keep under wraps from day one. Rapture came about as a result of some powerful emotions that nearly lead to the complete breaking of Duccio's being. At the time, or perhaps just in that moment, his clarity wasn't enough for him to effectively wield the power of such a formidable weapon. Over the years, the fact of Rapture's existence in Diuccio's hands has been a secret maintained by his master, and one that has been known mostly by the masters. It was a decision made for the sake of keeping him manageable, and keep his aggression low key, as the weapon at a tendency to bring out the "Darkness" within him. He's gotten better at using it, though it still tampers with his head and heart to use it. While the secret keeping has official been labeled as unnecessary, it is still a matter that is kept behind curtains, and Diuccio strictly keeps it under wraps for the sake of learning to not rely on its power too much (and also in the hopes that he can surprise people with it someday when its power is truly needed).​

Bio:

Diuccio's life story follows that well-beaten path of the one who lost everything in order to find everything in turn. He had lived on a world out on the edge of the light, bordering the Darkness. Being that they were as close to the Darkness as they were, the people of his world had brought themselves up with defenses in mind, and thus, sprouted a rather glorious chain of warrior families that helped the Keybearers protect their world from harm. However, as the power of the Realm o Darkness continued to pound into their world over the years, the armies began to falter, and in response, there occurred an influx of Keybearers from the Light, in the hopes repelling it entirely. But it amounted to very little, and eventually, the world fell in one, massive fell-swoop. Chaos erupted as the world fell into its state of consumption, and it's armies fell with only the most meager of fights, causing the Keybearers to call in for an evacuation.

Caught in the midst of the final onslaught, Diuccio, at the age of thirteen, scrambled through his home to retrieve the only objects that meant the world to his family: the twin short swords, which had been used in battle by the family for several generations. But in his attempts to reach his family, he was cut off, not by the Darkness, but by a Keybearer rushing by, who scooped him up as he watched his family get swallowed whole in the collapse of their world. He found himself in the world known as Radiant Garden, kneeling before a Keybearer, who went by the name of "Zaal Faleski." Faleski, seeing the blades Diuccio had held onto with relentless determination, opted to train the young boy in their proper use, a process which would lead to Diuccio wielding a Keyblade of his own, and consequentially, having to keep it a tight secret from others. At age 15, he traveled with Master Faleski to the Academy of Light, wherein a commenced a tenure as a student, eventually being deemed skilled enough to be considered a Junior Teacher, a position he took up at the age of 19.​

OOC: hmm I guess I will just start now since I have enough people, anyways I want to give the new people a feel on how our roleplay works. :B Also Imperium you are in man.

Long paneled corridors seemed empty, almost lifeless, yet the lamps on the wall remained lit, orbs of beautiful white light floated in midair within their golden cast iron frame, protected by a glass and iron frame that withheld the light in a small cage. These lamps seemed not to be lit by fire but something completely different, as if they were lit by something magical. But the way these lights lit up the corridors seemed just as magical. Keeping this desolate empty hallways always flowing with some sort of warmth. Suddenly the empty halls began emanating sounds of many people, chattering, laughing, and their footsteps pounding against the marble and wooden floors of the rooms behind the walls. Doors all over opened and soon the hallways became crowded with chattering crowds of people, young and old, mostly clad in school uniforms or business attire. Class had been let out for the day and soon everyone was expecting to return back to go to the dinner hall and have dinner or return to their dorms to hang with their friends. Amongst all the crowds of people lingering in the hall a young woman had just left her class on Medicinal Studies and seemed intent on heading to the eating hall to eat dinner with a group of girls who were her friends of course. A group of girls whom compared to her seemed to be rather normal looking, the girls strange white flowing hair seemed to set her apart from her friends and most of the people in the hallway at that time. Finally her friends decided to go on ahead to the dinner hall while the young woman who's long trailing locks were the color of starlight stayed behind and tidied up in front of a mirror that hung on the wall in the middle of the hallway. She began fixing her tie and straightening the collar of her shirt and her sleeves. Suddenly the girl wasn't alone anymore as a young man about a couple years older then her wandered towards her through the crowd almost in a sly and stuck up manner. The girl saw him coming and meant to turn to leave but he blocked her by pushing his fist in the wall and cornering her. The boy stared down at her, her face stricken with a annoyed look.

" What is it that you want, Justin I thought you were going to take a trip out to the nearby farming town and look for some innocent peasant girl to push around with your repulsive charms."
The young man only chuckled at her remark, his blue aquamarine eyes fixed on her.
" And waste my time playing around with those dirt covered lowlifes? Why should I bother, when there are hordes of cute daughters of wealthy landowners rushing about here and there? Why should I pass up a chance to be with a beauty like yourself? Why is it that you refuse to be with me anyways? You see those other girls are dying for someone like me, even your friends are wishing silently within to be with me."

" Because you are a sleazy slime-ball of a man, once you've had your fill with me you'd throw me away for some other girl, plus I don't intend on dating anyone ever, I don't want some high strung boy getting in the way of my goals and dreams. Now go away before my master sees you."
The girl said staring straight at him as she pushed his arm out of the way and attempted to leave.
" My, My, Phisoxa, you don't know what's good for you, maybe you will come to your senses some day."
The young man said as he reached to grab at her skirt but before he could even touch her, the girl seemed to disappear in a flash and then she appeared behind him and struck him over the back of the head with her book bag which had at least three heavy textbooks in it. A shriek came from the man as she tripped and fell to the ground and attempted to get up off the ground.
" Why you little bi- . . . !!"
The girl then threw a nasty punch at his cheek and then struck him again. She would have continued to do so if his group of buddies hadn't decided to interrupt her. One of his friends grabbed the girl by the arm and jerked her back and away from the boy who'd she had just battered.
" Let me go or you will suffer the same fate."
The girl threatened her captor as he attempted to pin her against the wall, a glimmer of light shone in the girl's palm as she hit the wall and suddenly a bronze colored key appeared in her hand as she knocked men away as they too summoned their keys. The girl and the group of boys were sudden on a standoff and Phisoxa was about to charge them when suddenly a hand rested on her shoulder and stopped her. The belonged to a man in the prime of his years, he had specks of gray hair in his dark brown locks, signifying his age and experience.
" Calm down my dear, there is no need to spill their blood here, they won't prove much of a challenge anyways."
Said the man as the girl seemed to shrunk back and disummoned her keyblade, she bowed her head a few times as she backed away a bit.
" Master I'm sorry, I couldn't contain myself."
The man only smiled as he patted her head and threw a displeased stare at the group of boys.
" I suggest you head back to your dorms gentlemen, you got away easy this time but if I find you harassing anyone else you can find yourself seated in my office every evening for the rest of the school year or worse, cleaning the boys laboratories and lockeroom with a toothbrush."
The man said with a sarcastic smile, the young men got a look of fear on their faces as their leader, the boy who bothered the girl known by the name of Phisoxa lead them away, as the girl's Master only nodded his head and walked off disappearing into the crowded halls of people who threw stares at her as they passed, either concerned,confused, or in disbelief of the event that had just taken place.

 

OOC: I don't think I can do that long of a post, but I'll see what I can do XD

Mike heard noises when he had went down the hall, and as people walked away he saw the 'Master,' so he knew something was up. He tapped a nearby kid on the shoulder "Who fought whom?" he asked curiously to someone from one of his classes, "Phisoxa and Justin." he said blandly, and the boy continued walking. "Hunh.." he said aloud, twiddling his fingers. He was use to this stuff, but he still hated missing the action. Even if that kid didn't tell him, he could still tell, everybody was staring at Phisoxa. That's what the nosy school always does, gaping and whispering to each other..or at least, that's what I think. he thought, loosening up his tie, Stupid teachers want me to look 'proper,' and proper is going to kill me one day probably, literately, these ties choke me. he sighed, flexing his shoulder from his bag. He started jogging, eager to get to his dorm and have the day be over. As he was running he tripped over his friend, fell face first, his books scattering all over the ground. Smooth Mike, smoothh he thought while quickly getting up and scattering to get his books.

New people, I like. It was getting boring with what, five of us?

Note to the new players to this series. We do mechanics crossovers a lot in this. By this I mean that you won't find characters from outside of Kingdom Hearts, but you will find systems from elsewhere. For example my character uses alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Bio: He lived most of his childhood training alchemy with his teacher, Dr. Traken. When his training was complete he attempted to perform a human transmutation. Although unsuccessful, the rebound did not kill him. Instead he found himself beyond the gate in a new land. He now attends the academy, studying the ways of the new area he's found himself in. He mostly keeps to himself and is very calculating.

Isaac was passing by from his Spellcasting class when he saw the crowd. His head quickly turned to see what the commotion was about. He approached one of the nearby students and asked hey, "What's going on here?"

"Some people got into a fight, I think it was that Phisoxa girl. You know, the one with the white hair?"

"Oh, that so?" Isaac raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah, definitely." The student quickly turned back around.

Isaac sauntered off to the eating hall, Huh... The chick with the white hair got into a fight, wish I coulda seen that. Oh well, what's done is done.

 

Even with all the stares, Phisoxa didn't even flinch, she only stared back at them, sending most back to their own business as she continued on to the dining hall to join up with her friends who were busy eating. She entered the large iron plated doors of the dinner hall, a large room with marble floors and large oak tables curtained in white table clothes attended by waiters who brought today's courses. Phisoxa wandered towards the table where her friends were seated and sat down, not paying attention to Justin and his band of friends even after what he did to her. She and the group of girls began to converse about Phisoxa's ordeal after overhearing about it from the people stationed nearby.
